“Life is like a camera. Just focus on what’s important and capture the good times, develop from the negatives and if things don’t work out, just take another shot.”

Luke 15:1-10
For my Greek Exegesis class, I chose to do a creative project based on my interpretation of the above scripture after I translated and explored the text. I choose to express my exegetical discoveries through photography. This is a series of photos that capture my interpretation of the parable. The photos begin with the shepherd searching and ends with sheep being found. The shepherd in this parable is looking for a sheep that was not looking to be found. These photos could represent anyone looking for something that is lost, therefore there are no faces within the photo. Also we do not know if the sheep was lost, ran away or turned away by others. So the photos show a sheep that is not looking to be found. |
